FIND GREAT FONTS!
Design Tips for your Custom Picks
One of the best places that we have found to find the ideal font for your design is at dafont.com. There you can even preview what YOUR text will look like in each font as you browse.

If you would like us to create a text layout for your picks, all you have to do is email us with the names of the fonts that you like, along with your desired text, and we will be happy to do some mockups for you free of charge.

NOTE: Try to avoid fonts with intricate details and ultra-thin lines. These types of fonts can result in some loss of detail during the imprinting process.

To cut down on die costs, we have over 80 stock images that are available for you to use on your picks.
Custom and premade pick dies
Example: If you want special text on one side of your picks, and an image on the other… you could use one of our EGOpicks images, and then just have ONE die made up with your desired text layout.

NOTE: Each of our EGOpicks images will take up one whole side of a pick, so text can not be incorporated on the same side without having a custom die made up.

 

Choosing color combinations that work!

Here at EGOpicks, you can choose ONE IMPRINT COLOR for every 50 picks that you order, and you can mix and match as many of our pick colors as you like. For best results, the goal is to choose Pick and Imprint colors that contrast well with each other.

While most color combinations are obvious when it comes to contrast, here are a few tips and commonly asked about color combinations to help you determine your pick/imprint color combinations:

 

These imprint colors contrast well with THE MOST pick colors:

Holographic Silver Shows up well on MOST of our pick colors, but is NOT RECOMMENDED for Pearl White, Solid White or Oyster picks.
Metallic Silver Shows up well on MOST of our pick colors, but is NOT RECOMMENDED for Pearl white, Solid White or Oyster picks.
Holographic Gold Shows up well on MOST of our pick colors, but is NOT RECOMMENDED for Solid Deep Yellow picks.
Metallic Gold Shows up well on MOST of our pick colors, but is NOT RECOMMENDED for Pearl White or Solid Deep Yellow picks.

 

BLACK IMPRINTING only shows up well on the following pick colors:
Picks with black imprinting

  • Solid White
  • Pearl White
  • Solid Deep Yellow
  • Solid Light Blue
  • Pearl Pink
  • Solid Fluorescent Red
  • Oyster
  • Confetti
  • Pearl Light Blue (very subtle contrast, but still shows up)
  • Solid Red (very subtle contrast, but still shows up)
  • Solid Green (very subtle contrast, but still shows up)
