Custom Guitar Picks
Here at EGOpicks, in order to get a specific logo or design layout on to a pick, the image must first be made into a custom die (like a rubber stamp, but made of metal).
EGOpicks guitar picks are printed with a heat stamping method which imprints the image onto the picks - resulting in a stunning ‘old-school’ look. Imprinted images tend to resist wearing and fading longer than other printing methods. At EGOpicks, we hand-stamp each side of every pick we make! It’s more time consuming than today’s high-tech printing methods – but the results are definitely worth the extra time and effort!
Custom Logo Process: Step By Step
 |
Step 1 – Submit your logo or logo ideas:
Through email, the customer provides us with their existing logos or general design ideas. Then through continued email collaboration and correspondence, we will help to create and prepare your design layouts for the die-making process.
EGOpicks is happy to provide basic logo design services free of charge. Be sure to visit our EGOpicks Gallery for helpful design tips, ideas, and money-saving design options.
www.dafont.com is a great website to find great fonts for your designs. On the dafont website, you can type in your desired text near the top of the page, and preview what it will look like in each font as you browse. Just let us know the names of the fonts that you’re interested in, and we’ll do some digital mockups for you to choose from.
Original logos and design layouts should be submitted to EGOpicks in black & white – and as large as possible in one of the following formats: JPEG, PDF or COREL files. If you need help converting your logo to black and white, just let us know and we’ll see if we can help. |

Step 2 – Determining your order details: (quantities, color combinations etc.)
Your custom Logo can be printed in any of our imprint colors, onto any of our pick colors —in large or small quantities!
A. Choose your quantity (single or double sided):

B: Determine your Pick/Imprint color combinations
It’s all about variety! We allow one imprint color per 50 picks ordered, and you can use as many pick colors and available gauges (thicknesses) as you’d like!
It’s easiest to choose your imprint colors first, and then select the pick color(s) that you think will contrast well with each imprint color. Check out our chart of Pick and Imprint Colors , as well as our EGOpicks Gallery page for helpful tips on choosing your color combinations.
Here is an example of what you could do with a 100 pc. pick order:
- 20 Holographic Silver on Pearl Purple picks (.81mm)
- 30 Holographic Silver on Pearl Red picks (.96mm)
- 25 Metallic Red on Solid Black picks (.71mm)
- 15 Metallic Red on Pearl White picks (.81mm)
- 10 Metallic Red on Solid White picks (1.20mm)
That’s 100 picks total - 2 imprint colors were chosen, and then pick colors, gauges and quantities of picks were selected from there. |

Step 3 – Payment & Production of your custom dies and guitar picks:
Once we finalize the details of your order, we will email you a detailed PayPal invoice to collect payment. We can not submit your designs to the die-maker without a completed payment.
In order for us to be able to offer custom dies at the prices stated, we usually try to wait until we have at least 6 customer dies that can be ordered from our die-maker at the same time. Die orders are usually placed every 2-3 weeks. Once we submit the die order, it takes about a week for the dies to get here, and then another few days for us to get everyone’s picks made up and into the mail. An email notification will be sent as soon as your picks are done and on the way.
Customer dies are kept on-hand here at EGOpicks for exclusive use on any of your future pick orders.
Re-orders are quick and easy … Just email us with your order details (colors and quantities), and we’ll take care of the rest! |
