Biography:

Rustin Hiatt has been playing guitar for ten years, having started at the age of thirteen. His influences are said to be everyone and everything that he can get his hands on —with special attention paid to the guitar masters of modern day. Rustin’s sound is an odd amalgam of classical technique, blues licks and quirky phrasing all pushed to mach speed with a soft elegance. When explaining his style of music, Rustin says, “Imagine a playing heavy metal inside of a smokey jazz club and making it work. That sounds about right.”

Rustin has the personal belief that music should come from the soul and should be heard by it as well as the ears. As said by Rustin, “Music is our connection to the world, ourselves and God.”
