Biography:
Priscilla Bartens is a Lowlands Egomaniac girl rocker! She was born July 1994 in The Netherlands and started playing electric guitar at the age of 9.
By listening to her parents’ CD collection, she claims to have been “brainwashed” by the powerful Blues & Rock sounds from artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher and Jimi Hendrix. Priscilla writes to us, “Sadly for me there were no children of my age understanding my music choice.”
At the astounding age of just 10 years old Priscilla started performing at open stages in her hometown. Playing guitar in bands with much older musicians, she was inspired to start her own band. In early 2006 Priscilla started the girl band PRB-Experience. By luck she found a female drummer (Laura) about her age and together they started as a duo-girl classic rock band.
“Just 12 and 13 years old, we played our first songs at a small music festival for a crowd of 350 people. That was a spectacular start for our music career. At that time we were probably the youngest classic rock girl band from the Lowlands of Europe.”
With their classic rock songs the girls try to amaze visitors of clubs and music festivals. The PRB-Experience does about 20 shows a year and in June 2008 celebrated its 2.5 years band anniversary.

A Note From Priscilla:
In 2007 I was invited by miss Ana Popovic to play an old SRV song together with her. At that time she was on her world tour and just had a show in The Netherlands. Ana is a real blues guitar goddess. She travels around the world and is a popular blues rock guitarist in Europe and the US.
In 2008, a Dutch radio station organized a guitar battle for guitarists with a maximum age of 15. At that time I was only 13 years old and the only female competitor. Overall, I finished as 2nd and now I may call me Dutch vice-rockkid 2008.
Like all musicians I am proud of my equipment! My guitars are: Parker Nite Fly (USA), Fender custom build SRV no. 1 replica (USA/NL), and a Godin SD (CA/USA).
The best of all, my own personalized EGOpicks. I use typical girl colors for picks with my name or initials on it. For band promotion I use pearl black and pearl purple. All picks are with a tattoo logo’s on the back for a real classic rock look!
With Lisa’s care and effort even I can play on our shows with my own picks! After a show I love to throw my pick into the crowd. The picks are just so beautiful, the people love to catch one. EGOpicks are high quality playing picks with a great promotional and personal character!
