Biography:
Laredo was formed in January of 2004 and played their first job in April of the same year at the Rebound Lounge.
This six piece group share many common goals, the foremost being that if it isn’t fun for the players it won’t be fun for the audience. This being said, Laredo’s main objective was to play high energy current country dance music and make it fun for all. The bands enthusiasm on stage and friendly demeanor off stage has allowed Laredo in just a few short years to become one of the most sought after groups on the local circuit. A variety of the most current country hits, classic country songs and original compositions can be heard at Laredo performances. Their set list is updated monthly to reflect the current trends in the media.
Laredo has become a household name to local country fans and dancers. Yearly appearances at the Cuyahoga County Fair, Medina County Fair, Portage County Fair, Tops Great American Rib Cook Off, Avon’s Heritage Festival, A Taste of Cleveland, numerous local festivals and fairs as well as playing at the top local clubs in the area have kept Laredo in the forefront of the Cleveland Country Circuit. Most recently Laredo appeared at the 2008 Jamboree in the Hills in St. Clairsville, Ohio and was featured at the Jamboree VIP party. Laredo has performed at the WGAR Country Jam and has been the opening act for many national acts as well up and coming stars. Listed below are a few of these shows. Last year Laredo was proud to be selected as the local side stage performers at Blossom Music Center for both the Toby Keith and the Rascal Flatts performances.
